Ciao a tutti! Dopo tanto attendere (più
di 20 giorni, me ne scuso!!) ho un nuovo capitolo per voi, sempre
special edition. Stavolta avremo modo di parlare di un evento che ha
avuto luogo a Cadimare, frazione del Comune di La Spezia.

La festa, ovvero il cosiddetto “Sbarco
dei Pirati”, si tiene nel paese da pochi anni, ma ha riscosso già
un successo enorme, tanto che ogni volta il numero dei partecipanti è
sempre maggiore.
In queste occasioni il comune istituisce un servizio
di navette e traghetti che portano direttamente dai parcheggi
principali della città e della provincia circostante a Cadimare.

Durante il pomeriggio la festa è riservata ai bambini, infatti
vengono allestiti spettacoli e gite sulla nave pirata, mentre la sera
l'evento diventa per i più grandi.
Ovunque bancarelle di ottimo cibo
tipico, con gli immancabili muscoli (le cozze), gli sgabei fritti e
anche bevande piratesche come la sangria e il rum e pera.
Man mano
che la serata prosegue la gente aumenta, e verso le 10 inizia uno
spettacolo realizzato da una compagnia torinese che si occupa di
rievocazioni storiche.

Lo spettacolo pirotecnico è affascinante e
sorprende sia grandi che piccini.
Una volta che lo spettacolo finisce
il porticciolo si trasforma in una discoteca all'aperto e iniziano le
danze.
Ho apprezzato molto l'iniziativa
dell'evento, poiché le feste in maschera sono a mio parere sempre
un'occasione in più per divertirsi, mi è spiaciuto che le code per
il cibo fossero così lunghe, ma capisco benissimo che è difficile
gestire così tante persone e la popolazione di Cadimare c'è
riuscita egregiamente.

Lo spettacolo è stato davvero notevole, molto
ben fatto e molto d'effetto, con la colonna sonora di “Pirati dei
Caraibi” che ormai è diventato un must piratesco.
Le danze dei
soldati inglesi mi hanno ricordato un clima di socialità che
ritroviamo anche oggi ma in molte meno persone.
Mi è capitato infatti,
di trovare una coppia in età avanzata molto arrogante, che oltre ad
esser passata con nonchalance davanti alle altre persone in coda, si
è messa in prima fila per lo spettacolo e si è rifiutata di far
posto ad un bambino, a mio parere il vero protagonista della festa.
Anche la discoteca è stata molto
bella, e la presenza di un simpatico signore che si destreggiava in
mosse da balli di gruppo ha invogliato molte persone a seguirne i
passi.

Sfortunatamente ogni festa che si rispetti ha spesso un solo
epilogo: decine di ragazzi ubriachi che nella peggiore delle ipotesi
lasciano la festa in ambulanza e resse improponibili alle navette per
tornare alle proprie auto.
Ma ormai è una realtà con la quale
siamo sempre più a contatto.
In conclusione lo sbarco dei pirati a
mio parere è un ottimo evento, che aiuta a rendere più viva almeno
l'estate di una città che è sempre stata etichettata come una città
di anziani a causa delle scarse iniziative ludiche.

Hi everyone! After a very long time (more than 20 days, I am so sorry for that!) I have got a new chapter for you, another special edition. This time we will talk about a event which took place in Cadimare, a small city near La Spezia.

| Dances - Danze |
The party, called “Pirates' attack”
was first done a few years ago, and due to its success, every year
the number of participants is higher than the year before.
During this occasion the City of La
Spezia does a bus and ship service to help people reach the
destination.
During the afternoon the party is
mostly reserved to kids, in fact there are small shows and trips on a
pirate's ship, while in the evening there is fun for every age.

There are food stands everywhere with
delicious local food, like the inevitable mussels, the fried sgabei
(fried pizza's pasta) and even pirate's drinks such as sangria and
rum with pear.
People keep coming during the evening,
and at about 10 pm there is a show made by a company from Turin which
creates historical re enactments.
The fireworks show is amazing and
loved both by adults and children.
Once the show is over the town
becomes an outdoor disco and dances begin.

I really appreciated this event,
because masquerades are always a good occasion to have fun in my
opinion, I didn't like the long queues for the food, but I perfectly
understand that it's not easy to get along with such a huge number of
people, and Cadimare's inhabitants did this in a great way.
The show was awesome, really well made
and very impressive, with the “Pirates of the Caribbean”
soundtrack which is now pirate's must.

The dances done by the british soldiers
remembered me of the sociality we had once, which we have today as
well but in less people.
An example of this big change was seen
in a not so young couple I met, they were very rude, not only they
overtook me while I was waiting for my food, but when there was the
show they were on the first line and they didn't allowed a child to
go in front of them to be able to see.
And kids, in my opinion, are
the main protagonists of this event.
The disco was good too, and a guy made
it even better, linedancing.
Many other people tried to follow his
moves.

Unfortunately, however, every event has got its bad sides:
lots of drunk youngs who sometimes left the party on the ambulance
and incredibles crowds for the bus.
But this is a reality we have to
face with too often.
In conclusion the Pirates' attack was
an excellent event in my opinion, and it helps La Spezia becoming more
“Young” at least in summer, since it has always been called “A
city for old people” due to its lack of events.
